Read through About Sleep Apnea much more

For those of you that are diagnosed with sleep apnea, then you most certainly will be in search of sleep apnea information and/or cures. Certainly this is not a matter in which should be taken lightly, as sleep deprivation (lack of sleep) will put one's entire wellness in serious jeopardy.

Sleep Apnea can cause anxiety, depression, irritability, restless leg syndrome, yes-even chest pain, and much more. Some of the most common symptoms appears to be snoring, anxiety, a dry throat when you wake up, depression, morning headaches, even memory or learning problems.

This sleeping condition is caused by a blockage of the air way while sleeping. Blockage to the point of waking you up to breath, This will happen many times during the night, and as time goes on you will notice feeling more and more fatigued to the point were you will want to sleep or try to sleep more often. Soon will come the irritability and depression, anxiety, and so on, until you have a cabinet full of pills.

Between the lack of activity and the drugs you probably will start gaining weight and of course this adds to the problem a lot. Does this sound like something you are going through? The first thing, I recommend is see your doctor! Ask about sleep apnea and a sleep study. A sleep study monitors all stages of your sleep they record sudden leg or body movements, eye movements, heart rate, brain waves, oxygen in your blood, breathing and more.

After they gather all the information your Doctor will decide if you have Sleep Apnea. If you are diagnosed with sleep apnea most likely the doctor will prescribe the C.P.A.P. machine (Continuous Positive Airway Pressure). This should in most cases, fix the problem and you will be able to sleep again. There are other cures, some have to do with surgery, and others are said to be as simple as losing weight, and changing your diet and life habits.

My goal has been explore options for people struggling with sleep disorders to further my knowledge of this condition since my wife has been diagnosed with a sleep disorder. As you see my wife has been diagnosed with sleep apnea, and it would seem she has had it a very long time. It truly explained a lot, right down to her depression, yes folks I dared said it, depression. You see I did it again.

She has suffered from some major Depression and anxiety and yes she has a medicine cabinet full of prescriptions. From what I have read and heard from the doctor, it explains it all, And why not, if one is sleep deprived. It also explains the chest pains, when nothing seemed to be wrong. The kicker was when the ambulance came to the house and she was lethargic and completely out of it.

They rushed her to the hospital. The doctor after a few tests came to the conclusion that she is exhausted, because she wasn't sleeping at night, and her other doctor ordered a sleep study. Well you might lock the doors, because people with Sleep Apnea have a tendency to sleep walk, and by the way they will wake themselves up and say you woke them with your snoring, when it was their sleeping condition that woke them up, and snoring they heard as time goes on.
